The mayor payed Aiyaka on the spot and told her to leave the cart outside of the town hall, he would get the authorities to deal with the bandits.

Outside the town hall, Aiyaka and Lithor started their walk back to Magnolia. "Will 30,000 jewels be enough for your rent money?" Lithor asked.

"It's only half, but it's a start I guess," Aiyaka replied.

Lithor continued to speak. "Oh well, at least you got paid. The mayor was kind of a creep if I say so myself." He gave a small laugh and a quirky smile. "I guess the rumors are true, residents of Hargeon are nutcases."

The two walked out of Hargeon and went on their way to return to the Fairy Tail guild, their job a complete success.
